Japanese Astronaut Greets President Obama From Space

Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata sent an unusual greeting to US President Obama on April 24, direct from the international space station (ISS). President Obama is visiting Japan as part of a tour of Asian countries. Wakata, commander of Mission 39 on the ISS, welcomed the president to Japan in a video along with NASA crew-members Rick Mastracchio and Steve Swanson. Credit: YouTube/NASA
