Kabul River Swelling Causes Widespread Evacuation

Flooding in the Kabul River which runs through Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province forced hundreds of people to evacuate the area on August 1, with heavy rains expected to continue in the region. Local authorities said at least 109 people died in Pakistan’s province in monsoon season since mid-July.
