Kangaroos Chill During New South Wales Snowfall

Two kangaroos looked a little chilly in Marrangaroo, New South Wales, as snow fell around them on September 17.

Video recorder Linda Lingard told Storyful that she recorded the video at 6.30am, and that the settling snow was “a beautiful surprise to wake up to!”

Lingard added that there are “hundreds” of kangaroos in the area: “we live near a golf course where they help keep the greens manicured! And the golfers just play around them.”

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology posted a notice of snowfall in nearby Mount Boyce on the same date, issuing a warning to drivers to stay safe in the conditions. Credit: Linda Lingard via Storyful
