Kazakhstan Gets Football Fever as American Game Grows in Popularity

American football has kicked off in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as the game grows in popularity and boasts a small but loyal following.

In a video from Radio Free Europe, The Almaty Titans face off against their Kyrgyz rivals, the Bishkek Barsy or Snow Leopards. There are now four teams competing in football in Central Asia, with hopes of starting a fifth team, and the teams strong enough to face teams in Russia, Dubai and Turkey.
