The Mail Must Get Through: Kayaking Postie Surprises Workman in Flooded UK Town
As floods hit the Lincolnshire town of Market Rasen on November 8, Twitter user Lewis Rodgers spotted the odd sight of a man kayaking down a road.
Taking a closer look, he saw that the man appeared to be carrying out his work duties as a postman despite the weather conditions. “That first class mail is getting delivered and that is that,” he wrote on Twitter.
Rodgers, who said he was “working on the road” when he spotted the man, said he was in “absolute hysterics,” and “couldn’t believe what [he] was witnessing.”
