Manly Ferry Battered by Wild Waves

Wild weather whipped Sydney and surrounding regions in New South Wales on Monday afternoon, April 20, through to Tuesday, April 21. The New South Wales State Emergency Service was overwhelmed with emergency calls, carrying out 3,552 jobs and 23 flood rescues by Tuesday morning. The storm left two people missing and 180,000 homes without power. Several schools were closed on Tuesday and transport services affected.
