Nor'easter Batters the Jersey Shore

A nor’easter brought heavy rains and high winds to the northeast on December 9. This video shows the surf along Belmar, New Jersey. The uploader stated he had not seen the ocean “this bad since Hurricane Sandy.” The storm triggered flooding down the Jersey Shore, especially during high tide, according to local reports. The storm is expected to generate two inches or more of rain and some snow in the northeast. Credit: Facebook/Thomas Ficarro
