Oh Snap! Posing Tourists Given Fright in Crocodile Prank

Staff at a Top End safari camp had some fun with visitors recently who thought they were posing for a photo in front of a motionless crocodile.

“Our animals are quiet docile at times,” Joshua Luke Green of the Top End Safari Camp told Storyful, so they allow people to pose for shots.

This time, however, the only thing that went “snap” was the crocodile behind a group of girls who Green was recording.

Green’s video shows him pretending to ready the group for their picture in front of a three-legged crocodile called Tripod. Behind them, another member of staff throws some meat towards the croc, causing its jaws to snap shut, and give the guests a fright.

“This group of girls believed they were posing for a photo and had no idea we were filming with intention of giving them a little scare. As you can see, it worked perfectly,” Green said. Credit: Joshua Luke Green via Storyful
