Oregon Family Defend Home From Wildfire as Thousands Displaced

Thousands of people were ordered to evacuate from their homes in Clackamas County, Oregon, on September 10, as firefighters struggled to contain wildfires burning across the county, reports said.

The Oregonian reported that most of Clackamas was under a Level 3 “go now” evacuation order and 8,000 residents of Molalla were told to leave their homes immediately.

Woodrow Myers, who recorded this footage, said he was “helping [his] aunt and uncle and cousins clear out hot spots and breaking some lines near their home” along South Sawtell Road near Molalla.
