Russia to increase wheat supplies to Egypt, says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country is to increase wheat supplies to Egypt. The announcement was made during a visit to Moscow by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah. The two leaders talked about stregthening economic cooperation as well as the situation in the Middle East and North Africa. It’s their third meeting this year. “Every time we meet, the Egyptian people hope to see improvements in the cooperation between us and Russia in different fields, including the economy but also the fight against terror in a region suffering from terrorism,” said al-Sisi. “It has an impact our region’s stability and security.
