Seattle Airport Sends in the Big Machines to Clear Deep Snow from Runways

Washington’s Seattle-Tacoma Airport sent in the big machines to clear away snow from runways and de-ice planes during intense snowfall Monday, February 11.

This footage shows multiple snow plows going to work at the airport to clear runways following hundreds of flight cancellations.

National Weather Service said Seattle had been hit by the biggest monthly snow falls in 50 years. They said 6.1 inches had fallen at the airport.
