Snow Delays Takeoff at Boston's Logan International Airport

Snow left the runway of Boston’s Logan International Airport icy and covered in white on Tuesday, December 3.

These videos were filmed by Azzedine T Downes, who was catching a flight to California and “had to wait for the long runway to be cleared.” They show the conditions at the airport and, finally, a view from the clouds, above the winter storm.

Nearly six inches of snow were recorded in Boston on Tuesday morning, according to local public radio station WBUR, citing the National Weather Service, and over 2,500 cleanup crew members were dispatched to clear and treat the snowy roads. Credit: Azzedine T. Downes via Storyful
