Snowfall Blankets Northeast Nebraska

Snowfall blanketed parts of northeast Nebraska on Tuesday, November 10, after a cold front developed “faster and stronger” than forecasters initially predicted, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

An ice storm in Nebraska prompted the NWS to warn Omaha and Lincoln residents of power outages and falling tree branches on Tuesday. The Nebraska Department of Transportation reminded drivers to slow down and leave extra space between vehicles when traveling on icy roadways.
