'Start to Summer?' Memorial Day Weekend Snow Hits Colorado

A Memorial Day weekend storm hit parts of Colorado, bringing snowy conditions to elevated areas and causing traffic issues between Denver and Fairplay, according to news reports.

This footage, posted to Twitter by John Tinney, shows snow falling in Monument at the base of Mount Herman, south of Denver.

“This weekend is supposed to be the unofficial start to summer?” he wrote.
