Streets in Dallas Neighborhood Empty as Record-Setting Winter Storm Grips North Texas

Authorities urged commuters to exercise caution when traveling in Dallas, Texas, as a winter storm impacted the region on Tuesday, January 31.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning in the region and said travel conditions would continue to be hazardous through Thursday, February 2. The weather service added that the Dallas-Fort Worth area set a new daily snowfall record of 1.3 inches of snow and sleet accumulation.
