Thunderstorms Lash Kansas City, Missouri

Torrential rains lashed Kansas City on Wednesday, June 3, with the National Weather Service saying that two to three inches of rainfall had been dumped on the Midwest city, prompting a flash flood warning.

According to a local report, several streets became flooded with one water rescue being conducted in the 59th Street and Brookside Boulevard area of the city.
