Two 'Scared and Confused' Horses Found Neck-Deep in Flood Waters

Two horses at risk of drowning were rescued from flood waters caused by Hurricane Florence, according to animal charity Guardians of Rescue.

Footage shared on September 19 shows the two animals neck deep in what the charity said was eight feet of water. A woman can be heard saying that they had been on their way to rescue nine dogs when they came across the horses. The group posted that the horses were rescued and taken to higher ground.

Guardians of Rescue are one of many organisations and individuals that have been trying to bring animals that were abandoned as their owners evacuated their homes and businesses.
