A red warning was issued for Yuyao, China, on Monday, September 13, as Typhoon Chanthu brought heavy rain and flooding to parts of the country’s eastern coast.
This footage released by Yuyao Public Security Traffic Police shows the typhoon’s impact in the city on Monday morning. The first clip shows officers pushing a vehicle stranded in floodwaters on Changyuan Road. The second clip shows an officer surveying the floodwaters around a blocked sewer near Kaifeng Road and Shinan West Road.
