Wild Winds Whip Across Parking Garage as Typhoon Maysak Approaches Jeju Island

Typhoon Maysak whipped up strong waves and brought high winds to South Korea’s largest island, Jeju, as the storm approached the peninsula on September 2.

Maysak was expected to track across the Korean peninsula on September 3. Local media reported the storm was forecast to be one of the strongest systems to hit in years.

This video, posted to Instagram, shows wild winds and rain whipping across a parking garage in Jeju City, the largest city on Jeju Island.
