Wildfires Shroud San Francisco in Smoke

Air quality in many parts of California has plummeted as smoke thrown up by wildfires led to “hazardous conditions” around the Sacramento and San Francisco areas on November 16.

Poor air quality was expected to continue through to Tuesday, November 20. The conditions forced the closure of schools and cancellation of sporting events, SFGate.com reported.
