Wind Howls in Colorado Mountains as Visibility Lowered by Blowing Snow

Snow and gusty winds were expected to continue in parts of Colorado on Friday, March 31, making for hazardous travel in Vail and Breckenridge “due to slick, snowpacked, and icy conditions,” the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Video posted to Twitter by Summit County Libraries shows the blowing snow conditions in Frisco around 8:30 on Friday morning.

“It’s a great day to be inside our library!” the post read.

The NWS warned the area could see high winds, which, coupled with light snow, were expected to create difficult travel conditions. Credit: Summit County Libraries via Storyful
