Watch all the TV and movie panels from New York Comic Con 2020

Our endless plague year rages on, but there is still pop culture to be celebrated and entertainment news to be shared, so New York Comic Con 2020 is still happening — just in virtual form. This year's convention will take place Oct. 8-11, and like San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer, it will be entirely virtual in a partnership with YouTube.
Check out a list of all the virtual TV and movie panels taking place at this year's NYCC below. The list will be updated with videos from each panel as they become available.
Thursday, Oct. 8
Noon ET: Star Trek Universe (CBS All Access)
Once again NYCC will host a panel updating fans on all things Star Trek. First up is Star Trek: Lower Decks, as creator Mike McMahan and the series cast break down the season 1 finale of the animated series with host (and Star Trek veteran in his own right) Wil Wheaton. Then, the Star Trek: Discovery cast and showrunners preview season 3 (ahead of its Oct. 15 premiere on CBS All Access) in a discussion moderated by EW's Sarah Rodman.
1:10 p.m. ET: X of Swords (Marvel)
Yes, the "comic" in "New York Comic Con" is not for nothing. There are some panels focused on comic books, in addition to all the panels about movies and TV shows based on comics. This panel tackles the year's big X-Men crossover event, with commentary from writers Tini Howard, Gerry Duggan, Benjamin Percy, and Vita Ayala, along with editor Jordan D. White.
1:40 p.m. ET: Doctor Who (BBC)
Current Doctor Who stars Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill, and Bradley Walsh join moderator Melanie McFarland of Salon to look back at their favorite moments from their two seasons so far.
2:15 p.m. ET: Truth Seekers (Amazon)
Executive producer and series star Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz) discusses the making of this eight-episode supernatural horror-comedy series alongside costars Samson Kayo (Timewasters), Emma D'Arcy (Hanna), Susan Wokoma (Year of the Rabbit), and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange). The discussion is moderated by IGN's Terri Schwartz.
3:05 p.m. ET: Utopia (Amazon)
Based on the 2013 British series of the same name, Utopia is a twisted eight-episode thriller from showrunner Gillian Flynn (Sharp Objects) that follows a group of young comic fans who discover the conspiracy in their favorite graphic novel is real, and embark on a high-stakes adventure to save humanity from the end of the world. In addition to Flynn, this panel includes stars John Cusack, Rainn Wilson, Sasha Lane, Ashleigh LaThrop, Dan Byrd, Desmin Borges, and Cory Michael Smith in a Q&A moderated by Variety's Danielle Turchiano. 3:55 p.m. ET: Alex Rider (Amazon)
Author Anthony Horowitz's popular coming-of-age spy series is becoming a TV show. Horowitz and series star Otto Farrant (Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) preview the show, whose protagonist has unknowingly been trained since childhood for the dangerous world of espionage, and now finds himself reluctantly working undercover to investigate his uncle's death in a remote boarding school called Point Blanc. The show will air on IMDb TV, Amazon's free streaming service.
4:15 p.m. ET: The Boys (Amazon)
The Boys season 2 cast and showrunner Eric Kripke answer fans' burning questions and tease what's to come in the "shocking finale." See EW's new digital cover featuring The Boys.
4:50 p.m. ET: Invincible (Amazon)
Creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman has already found massive success in TV with the adaptation of one of his long-running Image comics, The Walking Dead. Now another of his epic sagas — the superhero comic Invincible — is becoming an adult animated series. Kirkman previews what fans can expect from the adaptation.
6:20 p.m. ET: Snowpiercer (TNT)
Snowpiercer stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, and Rowan Blanchard join showrunner Graeme Manson for a sneak peek at season 2.
7:15 p.m. ET: Woke (Hulu)
Series stars Lamorne Morris, T. Murph, and Blake Anderson join showrunner Jay Dyer, director Maurice "Mo" Marable, and executive producers Marshall Todd and Keith Knight for an in-depth discussion about the show and what it has to say about our complicated times.
8:05 p.m. ET: Entertainment Weekly Presents Black Horror: The State of Black Horror Post- Get Out
Black filmmakers are revitalizing the horror genre and confronting American racism head-on. In this panel, EW staff writer Chancellor Agard sits down with some of the filmmakers leading the charge: Bad Hair’s Justin Simien and Antebellum’s Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz.
8:40 p.m. ET: Books of Blood (Hulu)
Legendary horror author Clive Barker's six-volume series of horror stories serves as the inspiration for this new film. Director Brannon Braga discusses Books of Blood alongside cast members Britt Robertson, Rafi Gavron, Anna Friel, Freda Foh Shen, and Yul Vazquez just one day after the film hits Hulu on Oct. 7.
Friday, Oct. 9
10 a.m. ET: Ready Player Two
Ahead of the Nov. 24 release of the sequel to Ernest Cline's sci-fi bestseller, the author discusses the upcoming novel with actor Wil Wheaton. Wheaton wasn't in Steven Spielberg's 2018 filmed adaptation of Ready Player One, but he narrated the audiobook and is returning to narrate Ready Player Two as well.
12:40 p.m. ET: The Stand (CBS All Access)
Stephen King's iconic post-apocalyptic novel about a deadly global plague has already been adapted for television once, but now it's getting a second go while an actual deadly global plague is happening. Series stars Whoopi Goldberg, James Marsden, Greg Kinnear, Amber Heard, Jovan Adepo, Odessa Young, and Owen Teague, alongside showrunner Benjamin Cavell and executive producer Taylor Elmore, discuss what fans can expect from the newest version of The Stand when the series premieres Dec. 17 on CBS All Access in a panel moderated by Vanity Fair's Anthony Breznican. They also reveal the first full trailer.
1:50 p.m. ET: The Ghost and Molly McGee (Disney Channel)
This new animated series pairs a grumpy ghost (Dana Snyder) with an optimistic young girl named Molly (Ashly Burch). This panel will give a sneak peek at the show months before its TV premiere, courtesy of Burch, Snyder, and executive producers Bill Motz, Bob Roth, and Steve Loter. The panel will be moderated by Doug Bensimon.
4:10 p.m. ET: Entertainment Weekly Presents The Walking Dead Showrunners Summit
EW brings together the showrunners from all three TWD series — Angela Kang (The Walking Dead), Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg (Fear the Walking Dead), Matt Negrete (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) — along with chief content officer and former showrunner Scott M. Gimple to discuss the past, present, and future of the franchise, including the recently announced end of the original show as well as the development of multiple future spin-offs. This panel will be moderated by Dalton Ross, EW executive editor at large and expert on all things The Walking Dead.
4:55 p.m. ET: Resident Alien (Syfy)
Based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name, Syfy's new series Resident Alien follows a stranded alien's attempts to fit into small-town American life. Ahead of the show's January 2021 premiere, this NYCC panel will show the first 10 minutes of Resident Alien, followed by a Q&A with star Alan Tudyk, writer/executive producer Chris Sheridan, and cast members Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, and Levi Fiehler, moderated by IGN's Laura Prudom.
7:55 p.m. ET: Monsterland (Hulu)
Hulu's new series is based on Nathan Ballingrud's short story collection North American Lake Monsters. Cast members Jonathan Tucker, Taylor Schilling, Kelly Marie Tran, and Mike Colter will discuss the making of the series with creator/showrunner Mary Laws and moderator Alexis Nedd. Since all eight episodes of Monsterland hit Hulu on Oct. 2, the panelists will be able to discuss in-depth and go behind-the-scenes.
8:30 p.m. ET: M.O.D.O.K. (Hulu)
At one time, Hulu was planning to create four animated shows based on obscure Marvel characters. Two of those shows have since been aborted, but M.O.D.O.K. is still going forward with Patton Oswalt as the voice of the funniest-looking Marvel supervillain (a floating head with little arms and legs). Oswalt and Jordan Blum, co-creators of the series, will join cast members Aimee Garcia, Ben Schwartz, and Melissa Fumero for a first look at the show, whose release date has not yet been announced.
9:05 p.m. ET: Helstrom (Hulu)
This panel will premiere the first 10 minutes of Helstrom, whose 10 episodes hit Hulu on Oct. 16. Showrunner Paul Zbyszewski and cast members Tom Austen, Sydney Lemmon, Elizabeth Marvel, Ariana Guerra, June Carryl and Alain Uy will preview their take on Marvel's son of Satan.
Saturday, Oct. 10
1:10 p.m. ET: Evil (CBS)
Season 1 of Evil hits Netflix on Oct. 1, which should give people plenty of time to catch up before this panel with series stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, and Kurt Fuller, who join co-creators Robert and Michelle King to discuss season 1 and look ahead to the forthcoming season 2.
Fear the Walking Dead, Walking Dead: World Beyond, The Walking Dead (AMC)
All three Walking Dead shows will get their own panels on Saturday, kicking off at 2:35, 3:10, and 3:45 p.m. ET, respectively.
7:50 p.m. ET: Entertainment Weekly and Universal present Women Who Kick Ass: The 355
Entertainment Weekly’s popular franchise, Women Who Kick Ass, celebrates fierce, fearless actresses who play women who are redefining the rules. In this panel, the stars of Universal’s The 355 open up about their action-packed, female-led spy thriller, from explosive fight scenes to undercover espionage. EW staff writer Devan Coggan will moderate an in-depth conversation with actresses Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger, and Fan BingBing — plus a few surprises!
Sunday, Oct. 11
1:05 p.m. ET: Animaniacs (Hulu)
That's right, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are back. The new Animaniacs premieres on Hulu Nov. 20, so this panel will be an exclusive first look at the reboot courtesy of executive producer Wellesley Wild, co-executive producer Gabe Swarr, and voice cast members Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille, Jess Harnell and Maurice LaMarche.
4 p.n. ET: Big Hero 6 The Series (Disney Channel)
Big Hero 6 The Series stars Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, Jamie Chung, Brooks Wheelan, Khary Payton, and Lucas Neff join executive producers Mark McCorkle, Bob Schooley, and Nick Filippi to discuss the trajectory of the show so far and look ahead to season 3.
