The St. Louis Blues have agreed on an eight-year, $60 million US contract with restricted free agent forward Vladimir Tarasenko.
The 23-year-old native of Russia was drafted 16th overall by the Blues in 2010 and made his NHL debut in the 2012-13 season.
Tarasenko tallied 37 goals and 36 assists in 77 games last season for St. Louis and added six goals and one assist in six playoff games.
