Wagstaffe's Weather: Friday clouds to start before sun returns

Good morning!

Thursday was a textbook summer day for Metro Vancouver. But a few clouds, and even a few showers have rolled back in for Friday morning.

Blame the upper level spinning low pressure system that had drifted well off our coast, but is now sneaking in across Washington, sending a few clouds up to our neck of the woods.

The greatest chance of showers will be for eastern sections of the South Coast— especially towards the Fraser Valley.

Sunshine will quickly return for Friday afternoon with highs back up to 23 C and a bit of a humidex again as well.

Weekend weather

Morning clouds and a few showers will stick around to kick off the weekend, but it will still be a mainly sunny Saturday.

Look for another mainly sunny day on Sunday with temperatures in the mid 20s.

Long range forecasts have sunny skies and warm temperatures sticking around for much of next week.
