There's a reason Dyson vacuums are essentially the Maseratis of home cleaning gadgets. Not only are they sleek, stylish, and easy to store, but they're powerhouses to boot. They pick up all that dirt and debris in one swipe, regardless of whether you're using them on wood flooring, carpet or tile. They're incredibly lightweight too, so you can take them room to room without wrenching your back. Most importantly, however, you don't ever have to deal with bags or touching any of the crud they pick up: In one fluid motion, they deposit all that junk in the trash, totally hands-free.

Of course, those kinds of features don't come cheap — a Dyson vac will run you several hundred bucks, and some of the newest models are well over $500. Word of caution: Walmart is keeping it pretty hush-hush, but deals on Dyson vacs rarely stay secret for long.
