Warm summer forecast for Atlantic Canada

Environment Canada has released its predictions for what kind of summer Atlantic Canada can expect.

Senior climatologist David Phillips said it will be slightly warmer than usual for July through to September.

Both coasts are expecting warmer weather this summer, but it will be cooler than usual in Ontario and Quebec.

Manitoba is forecast to have what Phillips called a Goldilocks summer, in between the cool summer in Ontario and the warmer weather further west.
