Washington Capitals honour team and player who faced racist taunts on the ice

When 13-year-old Divyne Apollon stepped on to the ice for a youth hockey tournament, he faced racist taunts from the opposing team. As the only black player on his Maryland hockey team, he wasn't sure how to react. But his teammates took action, showing their support for Apollon, in a move that caught the attention of some prominent NHLers.
