Watch live: Joe Biden's inauguration as U.S. president, live reaction, expert analysis and more

Joe Biden is set to be inaugurated as the 46th U.S. president, alongside his vice president Kamala Harris, on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

You can follow along with the latest from the event starting at 8 a.m. through our Yahoo broadcast, which will feature the swearing-in ceremony, Biden’s inaugural address, and a full slate of specials guests and expert commentary.

Biden is set to officially become president at noon, replacing Donald Trump, who served a four-year term in office, which has resulted in two impeachments by the U.S. House of Representatives.

The latest historic impeachment came after Trump allegedly incited the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 in Washington, D.C. As Biden’s inauguration gets set to take place at the Capitol, there will be a heavy enforcement presence to help suppress any other movements that could delay the U.S.’s democratic process.

Instead of attending the inauguration, Trump is expected to arrive in Florida at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
