Watch a taste of Stanislaus Fair patriotic drone show. Sunday night theme is multicultural
The Stanislaus County Fair really has reached for the sky this year.
Visitors on Friday and Saturday nights were treated to a roughly 11-minute, patriotic-themed drone show, in which about 200 of the programmed aircraft danced in the dark, creating words and images above the fairgrounds.
Sunday night at 10 will be an entirely new show with a multicultural theme, said Terry Toews, co-owner of Clovis-based Skye Dreams, which is putting on the shows.
Also at the fair Sunday, admission is free before 3 p.m., Jesus Ojeda performs on the Modelo Free Variety Stage at 8:30 and Portuguese bloodless bullfights will be in the FoodMaxx Arena at 6:30.
Grounds open at noon and close at midnight. Ticket office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the arena box office opens a 5 p.m.
