How to watch Vikings vs Jets: NFL London 2024 start time, TV channel and live stream today

The 2024 NFL London Games kick off this weekend as the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets do battle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

This year’s series kicks off with undoubtedly the most high-profile game of the trio, with the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars arriving next week for their latest extended stay in the capital that includes meetings with the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots, the latter contest at Wembley.

The Vikings, who outlasted the New Orleans Saints on their last trip to these shores in 2022, are one of the early stories of this dramatic NFL season so far, racing out to a perfect 4-0 start following a 31-29 victory over their NFC North divisional rivals the Green Bay Packers in which they almost blew a 28-point lead.

Kevin O’Connell’s team, with Brian Flores marshalling an impressive defence, had earlier brushed aside both the New York Giants and Houston Texans in addition to a statement victory over the San Francisco 49ers, with the unlikely figure of Sam Darnold currently comfortably leading the NFL in touchdown passes during an incredible career renaissance after rival quarterback JJ McCarthy - the 10th overall pick in April’s draft - suffered a serious knee injury that will see him miss his entire rookie season.

How Darnold - who has shown a superb connection with star wide receiver Justin Jefferson - would love to enact some revenge this weekend on the Jets, by whom he was drafted third overall back in 2018 before being traded to the Carolina Panthers three years later for draft picks after the team mustered only 13 total wins in that time.

Gang Green head across the Atlantic for the first time since a loss to the Atlanta Falcons in 2021 at 2-2, having been narrowly defeated by the unfancied Denver Broncos in a terrible game played in woeful conditions at MetLife Stadium last weekend.

Much of the talk this week has been about a potential Davante Adams trade to reunite the wantaway Las Vegas Raiders star with former Packers team-mate Aaron Rodgers, who is dealing with a knee issue having missed all but four snaps of his debut Jets campaign last year due to an Achilles tear suffered early on his eagerly-anticipated first appearance.

Jets fans - who saw their team lose to the 49ers on opening weekend before successive wins over the Tennessee Titans and Patriots - will hope the veteran signal-caller shrugs that off to get back to winning ways this weekend and come back to haunt a familiar opponent in the Vikings, with star offensive talent such as running back Breece Hall and receiver Garrett Wilson both looking to reignite their seasons.
