LIZ LOZA: While I was watching this game-- again, the Eagles at the Giants game-- I just kept thinking, I really miss week 9 when I didn't have to do this. When I didn't have to like sit here and scratch my head and think like, how is-- who broke him? How is it happening? Like, why this? If Wentz was going to like pull some momentum out of the bye, it should have been in this match-up and also Wayne Gallman scoring twice.

Like, props also. Let me say before I forget. Last week when you were away, Scott Pianowski he went on a brilliant riff about Wayne Gallman being a legit RB1. And he should get fed more. And Devonta Freeman-- like, it doesn't matter if he's hurt. Forget this veteran BS. Props to Scott. He called it. He's been on the Gallman train, and it paid out this week.

MATT HARMON: Yeah, it's unbelievable I'm wiring about this in my recap column tonight that be Giants like, left no stone unturned to have a solution behind Saquon Barkley, right? Like, they bring in-- and every stone they turned over was like more terrible than the last.

Like, they bring in Dion Lewis off the worst season of his career in Tennessee. They bring in Devonta Freeman off the veteran scrapheap this year. And then they sign Alfred Morris, who hasn't-- you know, he had one carry for the Cardinals last year, which I didn't even know about until I saw him on TV this year.

Like, they literally bring Alfred Morris, who we love Alfred Morris. But they bring him off the couch this year. Meanwhile, the solution's in their backfield all along-- Wayne Gallman-- five touchdowns in the last four games, season high-- or, yeah, a season high 19 touches against the Eagles today. Like, I'm with Scott.

Like, I've got Wayne Gallman on a couple of teams. I'm glad that, you know, that they didn't-- like, I didn't lose those games or whatever. Like, I started in probably 50% and binged him in the other 50%.

Like, at this point, I think Gallman's like, leave the backfield alone, New York. And I Devonta Freeman's on IRR now. So they probably will. But I agree with Scott completely. Like, let's just keep giving this guy the ball.
