'Line Of Duty' to 'Keeping Faith': The 13 best shows to watch on TV this weekend
While the easing of lockdown is underway, we're not quite free from restrictions yet – thankfully, there are plenty of great TV shows to get you through the weekend.
Tonight will see the return of two fan favourites on Channel 4 and if you fancy a dance around the living room, BBC Two has got you covered.
On Saturday and Sunday, there are new documentaries and dramas aplenty, before another hotly-anticipated Line Of Duty instalment.

Friday, 26 March
Grayson’s Art Club (8pm, Channel 4)
Philippa Perry will be back on our screens this evening, after a successful – though not quite winning – appearance on The Great Celebrity Bake Off earlier this week.
Tonight’s theme is 'work' and Grayson and Philippa will chat with actress Jane Seymour and artist Ryan Gander. Musician Lianne La Havas and comedian Tom Allen will also unveil their own special, artistic contributions.
Gogglebox (9pm, Channel 4)
Now in its seventeenth season, Gogglebox has cemented its status as a much-loved Friday night staple.

This week, the nation’s favourite TV critics will watch This Morning, Countdown, new documentary Formula 1: Drive to Survive and Line Of Duty – so watch out for spoilers if you haven’t seen last Sunday’s explosive episode yet.
Later… With Jools Holland (10pm, BBC Two)
Fresh from announcing that Years And Years is now a solo project, Olly Alexander drops by Jools Holland’s studio to discuss his latest release.
Newcomer Griff – who was recently announced as the recipient of this year’s highly-coveted Brit Rising Star Award – will also chat to the host, along with musician, producer and composer Nitin Sawhney, and composer, singer, songwriter and cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson.
The Graham Norton Show (10.55pm, BBC One)
Father-son duo Liam Neeson and Micheàl Richardson will join Graham Norton to discuss their latest project, movie Made In Italy.
The Serpent star Tahar Rahim and The Good Wife’s Cush Jumbo will also drop by the (socially-distanced) duo or appear via videolink, as will Rob Brydon and Dragon’s Den investor Deborah Meaden. Singer Laura Mvula will perform.

Saturday, 27 March
Celebrity Mastermind (5.50pm, BBC One)
A fresh batch of celebs – Marcus Brigstocke, Vick Hope, Briony May Williams and Siobhán McSweeney – will be under the spotlight and in the hot seat as season 18 of this much-loved quiz show continues.
Interior Design Masters With Alan Carr (6pm, BBC Two)
If you haven’t been tuning in to Interior Design Masters then we highly recommend catching up on iPlayer.
This weekend’s final will see the two remaining contestants, Lynsey and Siobhan, go head-to-head when they are faced with the challenge of transforming luxury holiday villas in Cornwall.
While Alan Carr hosts, judge Michelle Ogundehin is in charge of making the final decision on who wins and the prize on offer is a biggie – a design contract with a boutique Lake District hotel.
Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (7pm, ITV)
Ant and Dec’s BGT colleague Alesha Dixon is on Star Guest Announcer duties this week. The live episode will also include the penultimate episode of their comedy mini-series, Double Trouble.
Keeping Faith (9pm, BBC One)
The third and final series of Welsh drama Keeping Faith is finally arriving on BBC One. The opener will see Faith and Evan Howell’s divorce and custody battle reach a new low, as the former struggles balancing motherhood with her legal career.

Good Morning Britain fans should look out for a familiar face as one of the ITV show’s hosts has swapped autocue for acting, by landing a role as a hotshot lawyer.
Paloma Faith: As I Am (9pm, BBC Two)
This tell-all documentary charts a particularly hectic year of Paloma Faith’s life and career, as she prepared to head off on a make-or-break tour while writing a new album and getting used to motherhood.
Faith herself has said she finds the hour-long special a “telling, exposed and at times emotional” watch.
“I hope it’s a testament to all working mothers out there,” she said. “As a feminist, I don’t believe in aiming for patriarchal ideals in order to be a success.
“I believe in embracing our feminine strengths and abilities in order to try and navigate success in a male dominated and judged world. The film I hope gives some insight into this.”
Reel Stories: Dave Grohl (10.35pm, BBC Two)
BBC Two’s bumper evening of musical offerings continues with Reel Stories, an in-depth interview with Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl.
The musician will discuss everything from his time in Nirvana to the formation of the Foos and supergroup, Them Crooked Vultures.
After the hour-long chat, hosted by Dermot O’Leary, BBC Two is broadcasting the Foo Fighters’ triumphant Reading 2019 set.
Sunday, 27 March
Britain’s Got Talent: Best Of The Buzzers (12.40pm, ITV)
Best Of The Buzzers looks back at the most memorable red buzzer, and golden buzzer, moments from 14 years of Britain’s Got Talent.
The one-off episode will include performances from acts such as 100 Voices of Gospel and Kojo Amin.
Midsomer Murders (8pm, ITV)
Midsomer Murders: With Baited Breath is a brand new episode of the hit murder mystery drama – and clocks in at tw- hours long.
The instalment will see fisherfolk flock to the village of Solomon Gorge, with the hope of catching a giant fish that is said to lurk in the lake there. But, of course, things don’t quite go to plan.
Line Of Duty (9pm, BBC One)
While we’re just one episode into the new Line Of Duty series, there has been no shortage of drama. If you need a recap of what happened last week, check out our summary of the series opener here.
Details of what to expect from episode two are few and far between but we do know that AC-12’s suspicions about DCI Davidson’s team – which now includes Vicky McClure’s character DI Kate Fleming – are showing no signs of going away. Watch this space.
