West Ham XI vs Man City: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, latest injuries for today

David Moyes leads his West Ham squad into their two toughest tests of the season with his players on a high.

Following a run of two wins and two clean sheets before Sunday's chaotic, and remarkable, 3-3 draw with Tottenham, the Hammers are brimming with confidence as they welcome Manchester City to the capital today.

That confidence was only boosted by the arrival of Said Benrahma on domestic deadline day, though Moyes has opted not to throw the Algerian straight in for his Premier League debut against Pep Guardiola's side. He doesn't even make the bench.

Moyes took a similar approach with Jarrod Bowen, who was eased in after making the step up to the Premier League from Hull City in January, and the winger is now flourishing.

Furthermore, Benrahma arrives at a time when it would be rather difficult to displace any of West Ham's front three after their recent showings.

There was some concern after Michail Antonio was spotted with ice on his leg following the draw at Spurs, but the forward starts with the treatment merely a precaution after a history of hamstring problems.

Ryan Fredericks is back in training after injury but Vladimir Coufal's form sees him settle for a place on the bench.

West Ham XI to face Man City: Fabianski, Coufal, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Masuaku, Rice (c), Soucek, Bowen, Fornals, Antonio

Subs: Randolph, Fredericks, Diop, Noble, Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Haller
