What's open and closed during Easter weekend in Halifax
Here's a list of what's open and closed from Good Friday through the holiday Monday in Halifax.
Good Friday: Buses will be running on their Sunday/Holiday level schedule. There will be no ferry service.
Easter Sunday: Again, buses running on their Sunday schedule. No ferry service.
Easter Monday: Buses return to their regular weekday schedule.
There will be no regular municipal solid waste collection services on Good Friday. Garbage, organics and recyclables collection slated for April 18 will happen the next day, Saturday April 19.
Pickup as usual on Monday.
The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two composting facilities and the HRM recycling plant are all closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
