What's open and closed in Toronto over Easter weekend

The Good Friday of Easter weekend marks the official opening of the city's golf courses as well as the usual holiday closures in the city.

All banks, government offices and most shopping malls and grocery stores are closed.

The Eaton Centre is open during the day, while the Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Sherway Gardens are both closed.

St. Lawrence Market is closed Good Friday. But Pacific Mall, Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens, Whole Foods Yorkville and T&T Supermarkets are open. Pusateri's are open Good Friday and closed Easter Sunday.

All Toronto library branches will be closed Friday, Sunday and Monday.

The TTC and GO are both running on a holiday schedules.

TTC riders can take advantage of a special holiday day pass which will be available throughout the weekend. The pass allows a maximum of six people (two adults and four children) unlimited travel for the day.

Beer Store locations across the city are all closed Friday and Sunday. while the LCBO is closed Friday with select stores open on Monday.

Weather permitting, all five of the city's golf courses - Dentonia Park, Don Valley, Humber Valley, Scarlett Woods and Tam O’Shanter are open today.
