By now, your supply of pickle candy canes you got last Christmas is long gone. But that doesn't mean you have to wait until December to feed your pickle-flavored candy cravings.

Meet the giant gummy pickle, a realistic-looking gherkin made by the Giant Gummy Bear Company. At 4.5 ounces each, they're made to be the same size as a dill pickle you'd get at a deli.

While the gummy pickles have the same texture as a traditional gummy bear, they are made with dill weed oil and rosemary extract so that they taste like the real thing. But it turns out, that might not be a good thing after all.

On social media, more than one person used the hashtag #disgusting to describe the sweet and sour treat. The Instagram account SoCal Snack Hunters said that they were "greeted with the funkiest bitter aftertaste" by the gummy pickles, mentioning that the "it doesn't go away after you eat it."

While the giant gummy pickles received several 5-star reviews on Amazon-where they're sold for an astronomical $14.49 each-their strong after taste earned them more than a couple lousy reviews.

"While this served its purpose as a hilarious joke, it was also totally disgusting," one Amazon customer wrote.

"It smells like pickle sunflower seeds to me-which made me think I was going to LOVE it," another person wrote in her review. "The taste is odd....sweet, but still like a dill pickle...but also like candy...I don't know. I don't hate it, but I don't exactly like it either."
