Whitney Rose's “Watch What Happens Live ”Appearance Postponed as Daughter Remains in ICU (Exclusive)

A rep for the network confirms to PEOPLE exclusively that Rose will be replaced by 'RHOSLC' costar Mary M. Cosby during the Wednesday, Oct. 9 episode of 'WWHL'

Whitney Rose is putting her family first.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star's 14-year-old daughter Bobbie Rose remains hospitalized for severe asthma exacerbation, the Wild Rose Beauty founder, 38, is remaining by Bobbie's side, meaning she will miss a scheduled appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

A rep for the network confirms to PEOPLE exclusively that Whitney, who was previously announced as a guest on the Wednesday, Oct. 9 episode of the late-night show alongside musician Elle King, would be postponing her appearance.

Whitney's Housewives costar Mary M. Cosby will be appearing in her place, PEOPLE confirms.

WWHL airs Sunday through Thursday evenings on Bravo. While some episodes are pre-tapped, Wednesday evenings typically air live from the show's studios in New York City.

On Sunday, Oct. 6, Whitney shared on her Instagram Stories that Bobbie was taken to the intensive care unit (ICU) in an ambulance after the severe asthma exacerbation.

"My beautiful community please pray for my angel daughter Bobbie Rose," Whitney wrote. "I normally would never come on here to share something so vulnerable but we need prayers and good vibes right now."

On Monday, Oct. 7, Whitney gave an update on her daughter, confirming there were no changes at that time.

The next day, Rose confirmed via Instagram Stories that Bobbie is still in the ICU. She shared that her daughter “has finally seen a bit of improvement," adding, "She still has a long way to go, so no official updates yet."

"Thank you for all of your prayers, they are felt and working. Thank you for understanding our desire for privacy at this time, as you can imagine this has been very stressful,” the TV personality wrote. She also thanked Primary Children's Hospital for all their help.

Whitney shares her daughter and son Brooks, 11, with husband Justin Rose. She is also stepmom to Justin's sons Austin, Christopher and Trey from his first marriage.

PEOPLE caught up with Whitney's cousin and RHOSLC costar Heather Gay this week, and she said she had been in touch with Rose during this difficult time. She also explained that their fellow Salt Lake City Housewives were all wishing Rose's daughter the best.

"We all have Bobbie Rose in our thoughts and prayers, for sure," Gay said.
