After 72 hours the poll closes and, each Friday, we'll publish and analyse the results, giving readers the chance to see how polarising a topic has become and if their view chimes with other Yahoo UK readers.
As the US presidential election unfolds with unexpected twists and turns, Yahoo readers have shared their thoughts on who they think the likely winner will be.
According to many bookies, Donald Trump is the favourite to claim victory in the November election if he faces the incumbent, Joe Biden. This sentiment is echoed by our readers, who have overwhelmingly said the Republican leader will regain the White House.
It has been an eventful few weeks for former president Trump, who was defeated by Biden in the 2020 election.
He survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, and re-emerged this week at the Republican National Convention where he secured the party's official nomination. In his first speech since the attack, he said he was only there "by the grace of Almighty God."
Polls have also indicated that his recent conviction in the hush money case has not impacted his support among his base.
However, it is possible that Trump may not face Biden at the end of the year, as the current US president has faced calls from influential members of his party to step down from the Democratic ticket following his shaky debate performance against Trump.
Trump is the hot favourite to return to the presidency - on betting aggregate website Oddschecker, he is currently at 4/7, with Biden on 18/1 and vice-president Kamala Harris, who many Democrats want to replace Biden, at 7/2.
