Turns out, these bugs are Japanese beetles — an invasive species!

The bug first came to Canada in 1939. Since then, it's travelled right across the country, and many Canadians are still having a tough time controlling the population through the summer.

To mitigate the issue, I reached out to David Lammers, President at gardengrove.ca, who provided some helpful tips and tricks on how to get rid of these beetles. Please watch the video above for what David had to say.
