Why Kylie Jenner Keeps Calling Travis Scott Her 'Hubby'

Kylie Jenner has teased that she may or may not be married before by wearing ultimately fake engagement rings in the past. But her new way of causing fan speculation that she's gone off and secretly wed her boyfriend, Travis Scott, is by calling him her "hubby" in social media posts. She did it first October 7, when she posted an Instagram story about his appearance on Saturday Night Live.

But that was temporary. She did it again last night on her permanent Instagram grid last night, writing, "just because flowers are the best kind😫😫😍 thank u hubby."

Is she trying to make some bigger announcement here? No, Peoplereported. It's just an affectionate nickname, a source told the outlet. “Kylie is very happy with Travis, but they aren’t married,” the source said eight days ago after Jenner first used the name. “There has been some talk about marriage, but it doesn’t seem they are planning a wedding.”

Scott has called Jenner "wifey" way before she called him hubby too, for what it's worth. He did it in August in her birthday tribute 'gram:

But altogether, call it a hint that these two remain very, very serious-and certainly on the path to an eventual engagement.
