Pippa memorably attracted attention at her sister Kate Middleton's wedding when she wore a form-fitting white gown.

According to Finding Freedom, Meghan ended up not going to the ceremony because she didn't want to attract too much media attention. She did, however, attend the reception, wore she wore a low-key black gown that was "deliberately unflashy," according to the book. Her close friend and sometimes stylist Jessica Mulroney helped her choose the outfit.

The biography, which covers the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, was written by royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand and is already a bestseller. The authors explained that the Sussexes “were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom."

The authors also mention an article that was published before the wedding by The Sun about how it would be the "wedding of the rears" if Meghan attended the ceremony.

The authors claim that Carole Middleton and Pippa "reluctantly" invited Meghan to the wedding but worried she and Prince Harry attending could "overshadow the main event."
