Why Rosalía Isn’t With Jeremy Allen White at the 2024 Emmys
Jeremy Allen White has been romantically linked to Rosalía for almost a year, but the couple chose not to make their red carpet debut at the Emmys. White won Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on The Bear.
Rosalía’s absence is understandable, as the couple has generally kept their relationship private.
Rosalía was seen in Los Angeles ahead of the Emmys tonight, meaning she and White could reunite later in the night.
Reports of White and Rosalía dating first came out in late November. A source told Us Weekly at the time that they “have recently started dating. They started out as just friends, but things have turned romantic recently.” They’ve had sporadic appearances since then but generally keep their relationship to themselves.
Case in point: This July, the couple was photographed at the same event right before the Paris Olympics, both attending the Prelude To The Olympics celebration at Fondation Louis Vuitton. However they did not posed together.
While neither has spoken publicly about their relationship, Rosalía briefly touched on how she views love in a 2022 interview with Billboard, saying that of course it changes how she writes music. “I think love affects everything,” she said.
She added that becoming a celebrity had never been her goal; she just wanted to make music. “Fame at the end is a consequence,” she said. “At the end of the day it would be much harder to make music that no one hears.”
