Windsor's weather, traffic and gas prices for Tuesday

Weather

Mainly sunny. The high is 32 C with the humidex at 41 C. A few clouds are expected tonight with a low of 22 C.

A heat warning is in effect for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent. Environment Canada warns high temperatures are expected to reach the low 30s with humidex values reaching the low 40s until Thursday.

Traffic alert

Riverside Drive between Lauzon Road and Riverdale Avenue will be closed for construction until December 2018.

The city said construction crews will be rebuilding the roadway with the intent of reducing driver speed and volume, while increasing safety along the scenic drive though the installation of curbs and gutters, on-road bike lanes and sidewalks, and roadway realignment.

Gas

Gas is selling from $1.18 to $1.35 in Windsor-Essex.
