Windsor police make arrest in child luring, sexual assault case

Windsor police say a man has been charged in the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.

In a media release on Monday, police said officers began the investigation in May after receiving information that the girl had been sexually assaulted by a man she met on social media.

The service's internet child exploitation unit arrested a 25-year-old man following an investigation.

The man's electronic devices were seized as evidence, police said.

The 25-year-old Windsor man is charged with sexual assault and luring a child under the age of 16.
