No charges after possible bear spray incident near Kennedy high school

Windsor man charged after weekend stabbing

Windsor police say no charges will be laid after several teenagers entered Kennedy high school on Wednesday afternoon looking for help after a possible bear spray incident.

The incident occurred just after 3 p.m., according to police, who say two groups were involved in a fight at nearby Jackson Park.

One of the groups was sprayed with what is believed to be pepper spray. Three or four of the teenagers entered the school asking for water to clean their eyes.

None of the people who suffered from the possible bear spray incident are believed to be students from Kennedy.

There were no lasting injuries and nobody involved in the fight wish to press charges, according to Sgt. Steve Betteridge.
