The top Toto prize on Thursday had initially snowballed to an estimated $8 million as the previous three draws on 20, 23, and 27 June had not seen any winners for its Group 1 prize.

As a result, the prize money snowballed from $1,144,130 on 20 June, to $2,690,293 on 23 June, and to $5,550,096 on 27 June.

Interestingly, four winning numbers appeared in both the 23 and 27 June draws: 24, 27, 32, and 38.

This year's Toto Hongbao draw in February hit a 22-year high of $19.4 million, as the prize money also snowballed after it had not been won for two consecutive draws.
