Police seek suspect after serious sex assault on Osborne Street
Winnipeg police are looking for a male suspect who seriously sexually assaulted a woman under the transit corridor overpass on Osborne Street early Friday morning.
Police say the 21-year-old woman was walking in the area around 12:30 a.m. when she was confronted by a male on a mountain bike.
He got off the bike and seriously sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area, according to police.
The suspect is described as clean shaven and five feet nine to five feet 10 inches tall with an average build. He wore a black baseball cap, a T-shirt, and shorts with a silver stripe on them.
