Woman, 45, dead after 2-vehicle Anola crash

Series of Manitoba crashes a product of poor choices, RCMP say

A woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Anola, RCMP say.

Emergency crews, including STARS air ambulance, were called to the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 15 in Anola at about 7:30 p.m. on Friday after reports of a collision.

​RCMP said an SUV travelling northbound on Highway 12 hit an eastbound car on Highway 15.

There was a passenger in each vehicle, sending four people to hospital. One of them, a 45-year-old woman from the eastbound car, died of her injuries.

Alcohol was not involved in the crash, RCMP said.

The investigation is ongoing.
