Woman dies in Fort Worth after auto-pedestrian crash, police say

A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash in south Fort Worth on Tuesday night, Dec. 17, police said.

The victim was crossing the intersection of Ollie Street and Mansfield Highway about 7:50 p.m. when she was struck by a car and died, police said.

“We are waiting for the Traffic Investigation Unit to make the scene and take it over,” police said in a statement.

Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and no charges are anticipated at this time.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the woman who died.
