A 29-year-old man is wanted for murder after a woman was found dead in a Brampton home Friday morning with obvious signs of trauma, police say.

Police say the man was in an intimate relationship with the victim, and is considered armed and dangerous.

The man is associated with the following two vehicles with Ontario licence plates, they say:

  • A four-door red 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer with the plate number CMLT 713.

  • A four-door grey 2006 Audi NAQ with the plate number CLJJ 458.

Peel Regional Police say they were called about a disturbance in the area of Aloma Crescent and Avondale Boulevard just before 6 a.m.

Officers arrived to find the woman dead.

Homicide and missing persons units have taken over the investigation and are asking anyone with information to get in touch.

Officers will be canvassing the area for witnesses or anyone with surveillance video.
